Newsletter – May 2025

Dear Parent/Guardian,

It is hard to believe that the 2024-2025 school year is coming to an end. Team Success would like to THANK YOU and your family for your continuous support. We appreciate your commitment to your child’s academic success and our partnership in education.

Before we can close this chapter, the students will be taking the FAST PM3 in ELA, Math, Science, EOCs in Bio, Civics, History, Algebra, Geometry, AP Language Arts, AP History, AP Statistics (depending on your child’s grade level and HS courses). Please encourage your child to do their best on all of their assessments.

Let’s finish the school year on a high note and push through the end. As always, please reach out to your child’s teacher with any immediate concerns, questions, and/or feedback.

Last Day of School

The last day of school will be May 29th, 2025. ALL students will be dismissed early at the following times:

Grades 3-11

May 6: FAST Reading Retake (select juniors and seniors only)
May 7: FAST PM3 Reading (ELA) for Grades 3rd through 5th
May 8: iReady Testing (3rd graders only)
May 8: US History NGSSS (11th graders only)
May 13: FAST PM3 Reading (ELA) for Grades 6 through 10th
May 14: AP English Testing- Test begins promptly at 8:00am (select seniors only)
May 15: Agriscience Exam
May 15: FAST PM3 Math for 3rd through 5th
May 20: BEST Algebra EOC
May 20: BEST Geometry EOC
May 20: FAST PM3 Math for Grades 6 through 8 (pre-algebra students only)
May 22: Civics and Biology EOC's (7th and 9th grades only)
May 22: Science Assessment (5th and 8th grade)

Graduation will be held on May 27th 2025 at the SCF Auditorium at 5:30pm . More details to follow. Please reach out to the front office if you have any questions or concerns.

5th Grade Events

5th Grade Promotion Ceremony

This year we will be having a 5th grade promotion ceremony. Please join us for the promotion of our 5th graders and the presentation of the awards. See the flyer below for details.

5th Grade Social

This year we will be having a 5th grade social. 5th grade students are invited to join us for activities and time spent with one another. Please be on the lookout for permission slips coming home soon. Without these forms signs, the students will be unable to attend. See the flyer below for details.

This Book is Cool!

Patterson Foundation

The Patterson Foundation is excited to announce the 2025 Suncoast Summer Reading Challenge/THIS BOOK IS COOL! (SSRC/TBIC!)! This is an amazing opportunity for students entering PreK-3rd grade by August 2025. Each child that registered will receive 20 FREE specially selected books to add to their home libraries! Each child that has registered by May 3rd at midnight can expect their backpack to be delivered to the school the week of May 5th. Every backpack will be labeled with a student’s name.
