Compact

We commit to working together to support each child’s academic success. Parents agree to support learning at home by encouraging good study habits, while teachers will provide high-quality instruction in a supportive learning environment. Students promise to do their best and take responsibility for their learning.

Working Together for Student Achievement

Student Responsibilities

As a Team Success student, I will be actively involved in my own learning by:

Coming to school every day, on time and ready to learn.
Bringing all my materials and keeping them organized.
Knowing and following school and class rules and procedures.
Paying attention in class, participating actively in my learning, and completing all my work to the best of my ability.
Asking teachers questions to make sure I understand what they expect from me as a student.
Treating everyone with kindness and respect.
Giving my parents all notices and information from school and returning all paperwork on time.
Communicating with my parents and teachers to let them know what I need to be successful in school.
Setting goals for myself regarding my education and my future.
Dedicate myself to my studies and always giving my best effort in all my assignments and exams and never lose focus

Parent Responsibilities

As Team Success parents and guardians, we will support our child's learning by:

Making sure our child is in school every day, on time and ready to learn, with all the necessary materials.
Scheduling any trips and appointments, including doctor and dentist visits, outside of school hours/days.
Providing updated contact information.
Responding to messages from school and returning paperwork promptly, including signed progress and report cards.
Participating, as appropriate, in decisions related to our child's education and communicating with teachers when we have concerns.
Reading school newsletters, participating in surveys, and attending events and activities for parents.
Discussing with our child the importance of education and future college and career plans.

School Responsibilities

As Team Success staff members, we commit to providing each child with a safe, supportive, and positive learning community by:

Treating each child and each adult with kindness, dignity, and respect.
Maintaining consistent, clear, and high academic and behavior expectations for each student.
Providing parents reasonable access to staff through school events, conferences, and annual meetings.
Communicating with families through various ways, including phone, email, newsletters, and the school website, and using a language that family members can understand.
Working as a team to provide students with the resources, services, support, and attention they need to thrive.
Acknowledging and appreciating the vital role parents play in the success of their children.
Having parent conferences and making sure we remind them of the compact when we have conferences and have open communication with parents.

Teacher Responsibilities

As Team Success teachers, we commit to providing each child with a safe, supportive, and positive learning community by:

Treating each child and each adult with kindness, dignity, and respect.
Maintaining consistent, clear, and high academic and behavior expectations for each student.
Providing high quality curriculum and differentiated instruction to help each student grow.
Ensuring open communication between family and school in a language that family members can understand.
Assigning meaningful assignments to reinforce and extend learning.
Monitoring and assessing learning and providing thoughtful, timely feedback to each student.
Participating in professional development opportunities that improve our current teaching strategies and positively impact student learning.
Communicating with parents when concerned about a student and informing them about progress as well.

By signing below, I accept that I have read and agreed to the above responsibilities outlined in this Compact. Together, the school, the parents, and the students will work as a team to help all students grow and achieve.

Asegurarnos de que nuestro hijo esté en la escuela todos los días, a tiempo y listo para aprender, con todos los materiales necesarios.

Tratar a cada niño ya cada adulto con amabilidad, dignidad y respeto.
Mantener expectativas académicas y de comportamiento consistentes, claras y altas para cada estudiante.
Proporcionar a los padres un acceso razonable al personal a través de eventos escolares, conferencias y reuniones anuales.
Comunicarse con las familias a través de varias formas, incluyendo teléfono, correo electrónico, boletines y el sitio web de la escuela, y usar un lenguaje que los miembros de la familia puedan entender.
Trabajar en equipo para proporcionar a los estudiantes los recursos, los servicios, el apoyo y la atención que necesitan para prosperar.
Reconocer y apreciar el papel vital que juegan los padres en el éxito de sus hijos.

Mantener expectativas académicas y de comportamiento consistentes, claras y altas para cada estudiante.
Proporcionar un plan de estudios de alta calidad e instrucción diferenciada para ayudar a cada estudiante a crecer.
Asegurar una comunicación abierta entre la familia y la escuela en un idioma que los miembros de la familia puedan entender.
Asignar tareas significativas para reforzar y ampliar el aprendizaje.
Supervisar y evaluar el aprendizaje y brindar comentarios oportunos y reflexivos a cada estudiante.
Participar en oportunidades de desarrollo profesional que mejoren nuestras estrategias de enseñanza actuales y tengan un impacto positivo en el aprendizaje de los estudiantes.
Comunicarse con los padres cuando esté preocupado por un estudiante e informarles sobre su progreso.
